About Me

I am an educator with a master’s degree in early childhood education. Currently, I have the pleasure of being a stay at home mom of two boys, ages 2 and 11. Needless to say, we lead a very active life! At home and in my classroom, I believe that play is imperative. Letting children use their imaginations through play leads to vital creative and critical thinking skills. What better way to encourage play than through the use of superhero capes?! As a sister of three younger brothers and a mother of two boys, I have yet to see one that did not want to tie on a towel and transform into a superhero.
Our youngest son went straight to NICU after birth, initially for respiratory distress only to later find out there was more - quite a scary place to be for any parent. Since then, my husband and I have learned our young man has a condition called Neurofibroma type 1. My heart goes out to every child going through any type of medical treatment and how much strength they have from it all. They are all little heroes in my mind. Thus, was born the name "Everybody's Hero™." In addition, 10% of my sales are donated to the Children's Tumor Foundation.
We are also pleased to introduce our second product, Homework Heroes™. This little cape transforms any boring homework job into an adventure. My eldest son and I created these over the summer and are very excited to sell them. They are handmade by my son and myself, and are fully customizable.
